Learning

A curriculum tailored to your child

Our approach to early childhood education incorporates innovative play and inquiry that’s led by the individual child’s interests. Our early childhood teachers and educators act as collaborators, encouraging children to explore the world around them and communicate creatively about their findings.

We believe that children play an active role in their learning and education, so we’ve created a supportive and nurturing environment where they feel safe to do so.

What’s provided by Kids ELC Beaudesert, and what do I need to pack for my child?
At Kids ELC Beaudesert, we supply nappies and wipes for your convenience. Your child will also enjoy a selection of fresh, nutritious meals and snacks prepared by our on-site chef, that cater to children’s dietary needs, preferences, and allergies.

All that’s left to bring is:
- A spare change of clothes (or two) and a wet bag labelled with your child’s name
- A sun-safe hat (broad-brimmed or legionnaire style)
- A labelled water bottle
- Baby’s bottles for formula or breastmilk
What facilities are available to children at the Beaudesert centre?

Our centre is filled with exciting spaces for children to explore and enjoy, from our dedicated art studio and water play space to adventure playgrounds, cosy retreat areas, and nature-inspired playscapes. With a rocky river bed, veggie garden and more, children have endless opportunities to connect with nature and learn about sustainability.
What are your educator-to-child ratios?
We adhere to the National Quality Framework’s approved educator-to-child ratios to ensure that every child receives quality care and attention. At Kids ELC Beaudesert, this means:
- Babies (0–24 months): 1 educator for every 4 children
- Toddlers (24–36 months): 1 educator for every 5 children
- Toddlers (36 months up to and including preschool age): 1 educator for every 11 children
- Over preschool age: 1 educator for every 15 children
Where possible, we go above these requirements to provide even more individual support. This helps us create a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels seen, supported, and engaged.
What are your fees and what subsidies are available?

At Kids ELC Beaudesert, we believe in providing affordable, transparent childcare fees. As an Australian government-approved childcare facility, eligible families can enjoy reduced out-of-pocket childcare fees courtesy of the Child Care Subsidy. The amount of assistance you can receive varies for each family and depends on several key factors, including your family’s income, the type of approved childcare you use, the age and number of children, and the hours of activity that you and your partner do.
