Shared Spaces

Explore our outdoor and play areas

Here are some of the spaces kids enjoy at Kids ELC Centres across the region.
  • Adventure play

Children can let their energetic and adventurous spirits run wild on our adventure play towers and forts. From climbing walls and nets, to slides and bridges, each centre has unique structures to support kids in building the confidence and physical development to take on the world.

  • Art Studio (Atelier)

Our Altelierista’s, along with other Educators use these spaces to host creative sessions with children. These sessions are designed to foster creative thinking, problem solving, discussion and new ideas in line with our curriculum goals and various learning inspirations such as Reggio Emilia.

  • Dining Area (Cenare)

We love encouraging children to develop friendships and feel part of a community. Our Cenare dining spaces allow children to sit and enjoy meals together, learning valuable social skills and etiquette as they set help set tables, serve meals and tidy up.

  • Nature Play

We love to foster a strong connection to nature in these bespoke nature play environments. These inviting spaces are home to all sorts of interesting objects like stumps, rocks, river beds, mud kitchens and sand pits, everything a little explorer needs.

  • Water Play

Enjoy a break from the heat with some fun-filled water play with friends. Areas are designed with sprinklers, jets and more to make those sunny Summer days even greater.

  • Chef's Kitchen

Not only our preparation space for a range of delicious meals and snacks throughout the day, but also a learning space for children as they gain knowledge on nutrition and cooking. Centres offer a range of initiatives to help guide healthy choices and culinary knowledge.

  • Kitchen Garden

These spaces are very popular and a chance to get their hands dirty. Children will plant and grow a range of interesting and delicious things such as herbs, vegetables, flowers and more. Some of their produce is later harvested to be included in their nutrition initiatives and cooking classes.

  • Light & Shadow Studio

Exploring their creativity is at the heart of our learning journey. Specially designed spaces play host to wondrous lessons on light, shadows, shapes and other interesting concepts. The children will experiment with projectors, torches, light boxes and other objects to create opportunities to learn and discuss related themes.

  • Pet Environments

Part of our children’s learning journey is developing reciprocal relationships and respect. One way we do this is through our lovely little centre pets. Across our centres you’ll find everything from fish tanks and turtles, to bird cages and lizard enclosures. Some centres even have huggable guinea pigs and flocks of chickens, laying fresh eggs each day which are used in the children’s food education.
