What’s provided by Kids ELC Dakabin, and what do I need to pack for my child?
We provide all nappies and wipes to help make life simpler for our families. Each day, your child will enjoy a selection of fresh, nutritious meals prepared by our on-site chef, including morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea.

All that’s left to bring is:
- A spare change of clothes (or two) and a wet bag labelled with your child’s name
- A sun-safe hat (broad-brimmed or legionnaire style)
- A labelled water bottle
- Baby’s bottles for formula or breastmilk
What facilities are available to children at the Dakabin centre?
Kids ELC Dakabin has been thoughtfully designed to encourage children to explore and connect with the world around them. They’ll enjoy a number of facilities, including:
- The Atelier (art studio) where children can explore painting, drawing, sculpting, and other creative activities.
- Nature-inspired outdoor spaces, including a rocky river bed, designed to help children connect with the natural world.
- Water play park and adventure playground featuring an adventure fort, scramble nets, tunnels, swings, and slides.
- Calm retreat areas, such as our library, offering children a peaceful space for rest and reflection.
- The Cenare, a flexible dining space where children enjoy relaxed, family-style mealtimes together.
What educational framework or curriculum do you follow?

We’ve combined the key elements of the Reggio Emilia approach with evidence-based early learning practices to create a curriculum that’s tailored to Australian families. We see every child as a curious, capable learner, discovering and building knowledge through hands-on experiences and meaningful relationships. Rather than follow a fixed curriculum, our skilled educators work alongside each child to support and guide their learning, allowing them to explore their interests and develop at their own pace.
How can I enrol, and do you have a waitlist?

Enrolling your child at Kids ELC Dakabin is simple. Just complete our enrolment enquiry form and one of our friendly team members will be in touch. We always recommend visiting our centre in person to get to know the centre and our staff.

Some of our centres have waitlists, so we recommend enrolling early to secure your preferred days. Reach out to the Kids ELC Dakabin team to check current wait times for your child’s age and needs.
Is Kids ELC Dakabin Child Care Subsidy (CCS) approved?

Yes, we are! As an approved childcare provider, eligible Kids ELC Dakabin families can enjoy subsidised childcare fees courtesy of the CCS. While you’ll need to complete a CCS claim yourself, we can help you confirm your child’s enrollment details at our centre in your Centrelink account.
