What does ‘out of pocket’ cost mean?

It’s the remaining cost to you, after eligible subsidies are deducted from the daily fee.

Example: The fee at this centre is $161 per day, for a 10hr session. For those with a CCS rate of 80%, out-of-pocket costs for the day may be only $39.81*.

*Fees displayed are based on a 10hr session. “Out-of-pocket cost” includes a child care subsidy percentage and withholding rate of 5%. Excludes any other subsidies that may apply.

- A spare change of clothes (or two) and a wet bag labelled with your child’s name
- A sun-safe hat (broad-brimmed or legionnaire style)

Our Rochedale centre has been thoughtfully designed to include a variety of unique spaces to spark curiosity and learning, creating a strong foundation for your child’s future. Your child will enjoy a nature-inspired outdoor space, complete with a water play park, an on-site pool, and a dedicated art studio (atelier).
Do you provide any extracurricular programs at Kids ELC Rochedale?

We offer a wide variety of enriching programs specifically designed to support your child. These include swimming lessons with a highly qualified swimming teacher in our on-site pool, dance classes, cooking lessons, language classes, and fun trips to the local fruit market. These real-world experiences help children to feel like active members of their community, further supporting their development in a meaningful way.

Our Queensland Government-approved Free Kindy Program prepares children for a confident transition into Prep and beyond. Led by a bachelor-qualified early childhood teacher and supported by an experienced educational leader, our Free Kindy program helps children develop the foundational skills necessary for success throughout their schooling journey.
