At our Charters Towers centre, we have five beautifully designed studios offering safe, nurturing, and engaging spaces for children aged six weeks to five years. Each day, we can comfortably accommodate up to 83 children.

Offsite Swimming Lessons
Quality swimming lessons are available on a seasonal, weekly schedule.
Nappies & Wipes
Nappies and wipes are included for those who need them.
Sheets
Nap time is made simple with beds and bedding provided across our studios.
Onsite Kitchen/Chef
Our on-site Chef prepares a range of healthy and delicious meals and snacks each day.
Meals Provided
A range of tasty, nutritionally-balanced meals and snacks are served throughout the day.

Waterplay
Cool-off with a fun-filled session in one of our water-play areas with friends.

What’s provided by Kids ELC Charters Towers, and what do I need to pack for my child?
We provide everything your child needs, from nappies and wipes to sunscreen, along with delicious, healthy meals made fresh each day by our in-house chef.

All that’s left to bring is:
- A spare change of clothes (or two) and a wet bag labelled with your child’s name
- A sun-safe hat (broad-brimmed or legionnaire style)
- A labelled water bottle
- Baby’s bottles for formula or breastmilk
What services does Kids ELC Charters Towers offer?

At Kids ELC Charters Towers, we’re proud to offer a number of additional services and extracurricular activities to our children and their families.

Our Queensland government-approved Free Kindy program is designed to help children develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning as they prepare for the transition to Prep and into their schooling years.

Our centre also offers flexible care options, including before- and after-school care (OSHC).
What educational framework or curriculum do you follow?

Our approach is inspired by a range of approved frameworks from across early childhood education. Our interest-led approach focuses on creativity, exploration, and collaboration. Children are at the heart of our educational approach, and we view them as capable and independent thinkers who play a key role in their own learning journey.

By also incorporating the core principles of the Reggio Emilia approach with other evidence-based early learning practices, we’ve created a unique educational framework that’s specifically tailored to the needs of Australian families.
What happens if my child is unwell or needs medication?

At Kids ELC Charters Towers, the health and wellbeing of your child is our top priority. If your child falls ill while in our care, we’ll get in touch with you right away. If your child is unwell, we kindly ask that you keep them home to recover to help prevent the spread of illness.

Please discuss any other requirements with the team and we will work with you to provide the best care possible for your child.
